BIOGRAPHY

My name is Sophie Tian and I am an 18-year-old student artist attending Washington University in St. Louis. I specialize in painting, multimedia, and digital graphic design. My artwork is strongly influenced by my Chinese-American identity. Through my art, I strive to create work that speaks to my experiences and to the experiences of other AAPI individuals.

I am dedicated to creating art that is meaningful, unique, and reflective of my unique background. My portfolio features a variety of styles and mediums, such as air-dry clay, traditional Chinese inking, and watercolor painting. I hope to use my art as a platform to advocate for AAPI and to connect with other artists.
